    Our personal greeter will meet you on arrival to give you the keys and explain the basics of your holiday home. Late arrivals (between 22.00 and 24.00), early check-ins (between 12.00 and 15.00) and late checkouts (between 10.00-12.00) are possible for a small fee of £40.

    -A refundable damage deposit of £250 is required

  • The Cockenzie Residence

    Enjoy the unbeatable panoramic sea views from this Cockenzie holiday apartment situated on the seafront. This 1st-floor apartment sleeps 4 and overlooks the Firth of Forth. The village of Cockenzie has long merged with Port Seton to become one large village with two harbours and bags of character. Port Seton has seaside fun for all ages to enjoy, and with the Firth of Forth as a backdrop, you have constant picture-postcard scenery at your fingertips and sandy beaches with rock pools ready to explore.

    The first-floor space is designed for open living with the living room, dining room and kitchen all interlinked. The traditionally furnished living room features super-comfy armchairs and sofa and plush carpets – sit back and relax and take full advantage of the wall mounted TV and complimentary WiFi. And you can dine in style at the large solid wooden table, seating up to 6 guests. Moving through to the kitchen – more of that fabulous view, and you’ll find everything you need to cater for your stay. Integrated appliances include dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, gas hob and oven.

    With two double bedrooms to choose from - the master bedroom is filled with light and has uninterrupted views out over the water, has a queen-size bed, and boasts an en-suite shower room. The 2nd bedroom has two single beds, that can be converted into one bed with a zip and link (please note that these beds will be presented as single beds unless requested otherwise). Both bedrooms have plentiful storage.

    In addition to the en-suite shower room, there is a separate crisp, white family bathroom with full-size bath with an overhead shower to complete this delightful home from home.

    Step outside and you’ll find the shared walled garden with a drying area, and access to a beautiful coastal walkway - The John Muir Way.

    Cockenzie is an excellent base from which to explore the city of Edinburgh, just half an hour's drive away, and the pretty coastal towns and villages of East Lothian. Convenient for Musselburgh Races, Brunton Theatre and the Golf Coast - home to some of the world's greatest links.

    This property operates a key safe, so you can let yourself into the property any time after 4pm. The key safe code will be issued before your arrival. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting is, as we will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.

    The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.

    A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival and refunded after departure.

    All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.

    Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.
