Based on the second floor, this duplex apartment features minimalistic designer furniture throughout. On the lower level, the bright and airy living room has parquet flooring, and fantastic views over the Royal Mile. Just off of the lounge is the fully fitted kitchen, and a modern family bathroom.
The upper level is entered via a characterful wooden feature staircase, and plays host to two generous bedrooms with fitted storage and a luxury shower wet room room with WC.
This apartment is located in the heart of Edinburgh very close to Edinburgh Castle & St. Giles Cathedral. Only 10 minutes walk from Waverley Train Station, Princes Street, Edinburgh Bus Station and many major visitor attractions including Holyrood Palace, Scottish Parliament and Dynamic Earth.
As this apartment is split across two levels, and contains a wooden stair case with handrail, it may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.
Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 15 pounds for unsociable hours. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.
The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.
All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.
Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival.
Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.

Please note that there is an additional charge for use of the sofa bed. Therefore, if your group size does not meet the maximum occupancy and all guests can be accommodated in beds, the sofa bed will not be set up unless explicitly requested. For example: if your party size is 2 in a property that sleeps 4 using a double bed and a sofa bed, the sofa bed will not be set up unless requested and an additional fee paid.

Due to the centrality of this apartment there is no parking directly outside the apartment. There is metered parking about 150 metres from the apartment costing £4.10 per hour Monday-Saturday 8:30am-6:30pm. Alternatively there is public parking available at NCP Castle Terrace.

Ideally situated apartment in the heart of the Royal Mile. Well-equipped rooms without unnecessary frills. Possible improvement: the kitchen was a bit sparse. The pans were partly unusable, the equipment of the oven left much to be desired.
