The apartment is located within a group of modern private apartments, nestled in a quiet yet central lane of Old Town. The Royal Mile isn't the only thing on your doorstep. The Edinburgh Castle is only 15 minutes walk away, Palace of Holyroodhouse even closer, while St Giles' Cathedral, Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill only a 10 minutes radius from the apartment. Waverley Station is easely accessible and so is Princes Street, with its many shops, restaurants and The Gym Edinburgh. John Lewis and Omni Cinema are a 10 minutes walk from the bottom of Old Tolbooth Wynd via Calton Road.
- Booking Requirements -
One member of the booking party must be over 25 years. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as addresses and ID. We will require the lead guest to sign a copy of our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to vet any booking.
Please let us know if you require use of the sofa bed as an extra cost is required for the linen.

This apartment is not suitable for stag parties, hen parties or young single sex groups or parties. A damage deposit of £250 is required one week before arrival and will be fully refunded pending no damages one week after your departure.

The New Lochend Park View Residence is a fabulous, modern 3rd floor apartment with a free underground car parking space, perfect for exploring the city of Edinburgh
The apartment is located just over a mile from the city centre in an attractively landscaped courtyard close to the local amenities on offer on Easter Road and Leith Walk, where you will find a vast cosmopolitan variety of small local retailers, cafes and restaurants. A Sainsburys supermarket is nearby at Meadowbank Retail Park for grocery shopping.
The area is very well served by local buses with regular links to the City and surrounding areas, including Princes Street that offers further high street retailers and specialist shopping. The Omni Centre and the cities cinemas, theatres and galleries are just a short distance away.
The spacious open plan living/kitchen area is ideal for relaxing or rustling up some culinary treats following a day sightseeing to enjoy at the dining table, while the L shaped sofa converts into a double sofa bed for two additional guests if required. Smart TV offering Netflix, free WiFi, books and an ipod docking station are on hand.
The snazzy, contemporary kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including oven and hob, washing machine, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer.
The master bedroom features a king size bed and overlooks a quiet area ensuring a peaceful night's rest and a large mirrored wardrobe providing plentiful storage. The stylish family bathroom with a tiled floor and over the bath shower completes this wonderful holiday home.
This property operates a key safe, so you can let yourself into the property any time after 4pm. The key safe code will be issued before your arrival.
Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.
The latest departure time is 10:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
Please note, if you require the sofa bed to be made up and have only booked for two guests, there will be an additional fee for the provision of the sofa bed.
