    Prepare to be wowed as you step in to the spacious, open plan living and dining area with sleek, contemporary design. All of your entertainment needs are met, from the 50-inch Freeview TV with Blu-ray DVD player, to the board games and a large selection of DVDs. There’s also super-fast WiFi, complimentary to all of our guests. Over in the immaculate kitchen you’re met with everything you need to rustle up your own home cooked treats.     In terms of location, you are in the wonderful, leafy and historic area of Corstorphine. There’s plenty of information on Edinburgh and the local area in the apartment, including suggestions for walking tours taking in the 17th Century Forresters Dowers House and the Dovecot. A little more effort you can reach Clermiston Tower, a monument for Sir Walter Scott in the Corstorphine Hill Nature Reserve and from the walks and pathways you will have spectacular views of Edinburgh, the Firth of Forth and on a clear day see Glasgow at the end of the central belt.

    If you can peel yourself away from the local attractions, you’ll find yourself amidst Edinburgh’s famous medieval Old Town in no time. The bus stops practically at your door, and there are 3 main services that will drop you on Princes Street, George Street or take you over the North Bridges into the student quarter. That’s at least 6 services in one hour by the 26, the 31 and the 12. The buses to and from Edinburgh Airport, Waverley and Haymarket train stations, Glasgow and Stirling all stop outside the Zoo and there are numerous taxis on this main route. A short walk will take you to the tram stop at Balgreen and combined with your road routes to the motorways and ring road you can easily explore further afield.

Slide open the patio doors to your very own private balcony bringing the outdoors inside, enjoying the South-facing stunning views of the Water of Leith. The integrated appliances include a dishwasher, fridge, oven, hob, washing machine and microwave.

    A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.

    Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of £30 for unsociable hours, arrivals after 10 pm will incur a fee of £50 and arrivals after midnight, £60. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.

    The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.

    A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival and refunded after departure.

    All properties are strictly non-smoking and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.

    The Tollcross Residence is an amazing, must- see property. Located at the edge of the historic Old Town, this stunningly kept 1 bedroom property is the perfect escape home away from home. This chic, modern property includes all the mod-cons you’d expect, as well as free parking, which is a rare find in the city centre!

    Thoughtfully decorated throughout, the Tollcross Residence is a delight for the weary traveller. The sitting room includes soft sofas and a flat screen tv - perfect for curling up with a good film! The space is open and bright, and is also features a dining table which seats up to 4. Moving through to the kitchen, and you’ll find another gorgeously bright room, with plenty of preparation space and a range-style cooker.

    When you’ve had your fill of exploring the closes and cobbled streets, we guarantee you’ll sleep tight in the Tollcross Residence’s blissfully comfortable double bedroom. A fluffy, cosy double bed with luxury linens awaits you, and we hope you have nothing but sweet dreams.
