    Castle View Suite 1 is a superbly located property in The Grassmarket which lies within the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Edinburgh with breathtaking views of Edinburgh Castle only a few hundred metres away.

    The Grassmarket is a highly desirable central location for anyone wanting to make the most of their stay in the City. The majority of historic sights are within a short walk and the area abounds with Restaurants, Bars and Cafes. A five minute walk down the sweeping Mound or through Princes Street gardens will take you to shoppers heaven in George Street or Princes Street.

    This property has just been newly refurbished and fitted to a high standard. It comprises comprises of a spacious living room with double windows overlooking the historic Grassmarket and with spectacular views of the Castle. Freeview TV, and Wifi included. Kitchen includes electric hob &, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasger, washing machine, toaster and kettle. The lounge contains a sofabed suitable for two people. Hall cupboard contains a washing machine.

    The Bedroom has 1 kingsize bed and ample wardrobe and storage. The bedroom is at the quiet rear of the building to assist with a good nights sleep.

    A Shower room is in the property with electric shower, please note there is no bath.

    West Bow is in the heart of the World Heritage site of the Old Town of Edinburgh. This truly magnificent 2nd floor (no lift) apartment is located on the famous & much photographed West Bow/Victoria Street of Edinburgh.

    It is only 150 metres from entrance to Edinburgh Castle at the top of the Royal Mile. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from many other major Edinburgh attractions such as the Royal Scottish Museum and the National Gallery of Scotland. There is also a copious amount of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops in the immediate area. This apartment is furnished and decorated to a very high standard and is an extremely comfortable base for your visit to Edinburgh and Scotland.

    LOUNGE/DRAWING ROOM: This is a wonderful large room provides marvellous views of the famous Victoria Terrace which runs above the West Bow & Victoria Street. The room consists of two sofas (one of which converts to a comfortable double bed), A beautiful non functioning Victorian fireplace helps creates a wonderful ambience in the room.
    A widescreen tv with is provided for your enjoyment. The room has fully operational working shutters and heavy curtains to aid a good nights sleep if the sofa bed is in use. Guests who have a laptop can also enjoy a free broadband connection either through the supplied cable or by wifi.

    BEDROOM: This is a lovely double bedroom with a window also overlooking the Victoria Terrace. A 5ft (1.52 m) wide double bed with two bedside tables, a large built in wardrobe provide ample storage space for your possessions.     This flat is very comfortable and situated just a few yards off Edinburgh's famous 'Royal Mile'. This is a lovely, bright, 1st floor flat with one bedroom containing a standard size double bed and two single camp beds. The flat has a separate living room, separate kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and short bath. The TV in the living room is a Smart TV so you can watch all of your favourite shows!

    Pubs, clubs, pavement cafes and restaurants are all within one minute walk in this historic city. The Royal Mile is situated at the heart of Edinburgh's major sights such as Edinburgh Castle, Mary King's Close, St. Giles Cathedral, Holyrood Palace, The Witchery, Scottish Parliament Building and Scotland's major galleries and museums including the Scotch Whisky Experience. It is also within easy walking distance from Edinburgh's principle shopping area, Princes Street.

    Open topped tour buses are also within easy walking distance at Waverley train station. The former Royal Yacht Britannia is worth a visit at Leith's Ocean Terminal. Further afield, within a few hours travelling you can visit St.Andrews, home of golf and take tours of the highlands of Scotland including Loch Ness and the romantic Isle of Skye.
