  • The Edmonstone's Residence

    This lovely one-bedroom, first-floor apartment is converted from the former Traverse Theatre and situated just off the Grassmarket in a quiet courtyard right in the heart of the city’s Old Town. With all of the main attractions just outside your door, you’re perfectly placed for a visit to Scotland’s capital.

    The lounge featuring a Juliet balcony is comfortably furnished with a cosy sofa, dining table and chairs, flat-screen TV and offers unlimited complimentary WiFi. Just across the hall is the bright, modern kitchen where you’ll find everything you need to cater your holiday, including microwave, oven/hob, fridge and washing machine. The welcoming, roomy bedroom offers a comfy double bed, and a smart, white family bathroom with an over-bath shower completes this fabulously located holiday home.

    The Royal Mile is just a stone’s throw away, and the site of Edinburgh’s major sights such as Edinburgh Castle, Mary King's Close, St. Giles Cathedral, Holyrood Palace, The Scottish Parliament Building and Scotland's major galleries and museums including the Scotch Whisky Experience. It is also within easy walking distance from Edinburgh's principal shopping area, Princes Street and George Street.

    This property doesn't come with free parking but there is limited paid street parking in the local area for an additional fee. Alternatively, there is private parking facilities available at the NCP Car Park on Castle Terrace.

    This property operates a key safe, so you can let yourself into the property any time after 4pm. The key safe code will be issued before your arrival.

    If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.

    The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.

    A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival and refunded after departure.

    All properties are strictly non-smoking and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.

  • The Lochend Residence

    Sit back and relax in The Lochend Residence which is conveniently located in a quiet development, sheltered from the hustle and bustle. This delightful abode is just a 20 minute stroll or a 10 minute bus ride from all the main sightseeing venues and city centre shops. A 10 minute walk also takes you to a shopping centre which includes a large Sainsbury’s store and other useful shops.

    Refurbished in 2022, The Lochend Residence is cool and contemporary throughout and benefits from a private patio with pleasant views over Lochend Park and free indoor and outdoor parking.

    The spacious, open plan living area treats you to a large sofa, comfortable armchair, plus a large multi-Channel TV and leafy views over Lochend Park. The newly refurbed fully fitted kitchen has all mod cons, including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer and a large fridge/freezer. A light and airy bedroom delivers a peaceful night’s sleep in a king-size bed and there’s plentiful guest storage with fitted wardrobes, a useful vanity corner unit and a smart chest of drawers plus a wall mounted TV you can flick on when you wake up. The bathroom features a large walk in shower with luxury fittings.

    This property is the pride and joy of a retired couple who have family in Edinburgh, and they have furnished the flat with new, high-quality fixtures and fittings. It is vitally important to them, as non-commercial investors that their property is respected and treated in an appropriate manner

  • The Royal Mile Residence

    This flat is very comfortable and situated on a central stretch of Edinburgh's famous 'Royal Mile'. This is a bright, 2nd floor flat with one bedroom containing one double bed and one sofabed in the lounge area. There is also a separate single camp bed. There is a shared patio to the rear of the flat with views to the North of the City.

    Pubs, clubs, pavement cafes and restaurants are all within one minute walk in this historic city. The Royal Mile is situated at the heart of Edinburgh's major sights such as Edinburgh Castle, Mary King's Close, St. Giles Cathedral, Holyrood Palace, The Witchery, Scottish Parliament Building and Scotland's major galleries and museums including the Whisky Heritage museum. It is also within easy walking distance from Edinburgh's principle shopping area, Princes Street.

    Open topped tour buses are also within easy walking distance at Waverley train station. The former Royal Yacht Britannia is worth a visit at Leith's Ocean Terminal. Further afield, within a few hours travelling you can visit St.Andrews, home of golf and take tours of the highlands of Scotland including Loch Ness and the romantic Isle of Skye.

    For local convenience stores, in addition to the newsagent at the top of St Mary's Street, there is another up the Royal Mile from the apartment and right at the lights (across the road). Access to the apartment is via an internal staircase.
