Tolbooth is a very quiet ground floor self catering apartment in a new building located approx 100 metres down from the entrance of Old Tolbooth Wynd on the Royal Mile and is approx 350 metres from Holyrood Palace & the new Scottish Parliament building. This self-catering apartment is furnished and decorated to a high standard to make your stay in Edinburgh as comfortable as possible.
The apartment is a pleasant walk to many other major Edinburgh attractions such as the Royal Scottish Museum and the National Gallery of Scotland. There is also a copious amount of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops in the immediate area.
Guests who have a laptop can also enjoy a free broadband connection either through the supplied cable or by wifi.
The room consists of a sofa which converts to a comfortable double bed and a dining table suitable for four people. A fireplace with a coal effect fire provides additional heat to the central heating and some smaller items of furniture and lighting features create a wonderful ambience in the room. A widescreen TV with approximately 30 digital channels is available for your enjoyment. There is also complimentary wireless broadband available in the apartment.
This is a lovely double bedroom with a window overlooking looking out to a courtyard. A kingsize bed and headboard with two bedside tables, a large built in wardrobe and chest of drawers provide ample storage space for your possessions.
The kitchen has a window overlooking the same courtyard as the bedroom and is equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas hob electric oven, microwave oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher and cutlery & crockery for up to four people.
A bath with an instant electric shower, wc and basin. A shaver point is also in the bathroom.

A deposit of 25% is payable on booking and the outstanding balance of the rental price must be received 2 months prior to your arrival date. For bookings made less than eight weeks before your arrival date the whole rental price falls payable at the time of booking. Please note that a separate 200 pounds refundable key/security deposit must be provided prior to arrival. This is rescinded 5 days after departure.
We offer a "meet and greet" service, whereby you will be met at a property at a pre-arranged time to give access. Full instructions of this are sent out in the formal confirmation. Entry is from 14:00 onwards but if nobody has booked to depart on your day of arrival it will probably be very suitable for us to give you entry as early as possible. Even if there is a booking departing that day it might still be possible to at least drop off luggage. Departure is by 10am (a guaranteed late departure up to 20:00 can be obtained for 50% of that daily rate. Please contact us if you want to utilise this facility and a price will be calculated).
100 metres off the Royal Mile, approx 350 metres from the main rail station and airport drop off point. It is approx 600 metres from the tram stop on St Andrew Square.
There is secure underground parking available at the property at no extra charge. There is a lift direct to the property door or you can use stairs. Please note that the maximum height/clearance to enter the car park is 2.1 metres.
