Number Two Aberdour is a delightful 2-bedroom apartment sleeping up to 6 guests and is located in the small picturesque village of Aberdour, Fife. The apartment is perfectly located within a quiet residential area but just a few minutes’ walk from the railway station and the centre of Aberdour and all the amenities. Unrestricted free parking is available outside the property.
With easy access to Edinburgh, Aberdour hosts two award-winning beaches, a links golf course, numerous excellent restaurants and cafes, a 12th century church and castle, a beautiful sensory park, tennis courts, a boat club, Heritage Centre and much more.
Over 100 years old, this stone-built period property is beautifully restored and furnished and is ideal for a couple or a family.
The cosy lounge/dining area is the perfect space to sit back and relax after a day’s sightseeing with its feature fireplace and mood lighting. Your entertainment needs are taking care of with a flat-screen LED TV with Freeview, DVD player, books and various games. The sofa folds down into a double bed to accommodate 2 guests.
Feeling peckish? Move through to the newly fitted modern kitchen and everything is on hand to cook up a treat to enjoy at the dining table. Fully equipped with everything you need; the integrated appliances include a gas hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and a good selection of pots and crockery. We provide essentials for a cuppa on arrival!
The master bedroom is a bright and spacious room with zip-n-link beds and can be set up with a king-size bed or 2 singles, depending on your requirement. It has a classic dressing table and a comfy chair so you can enjoy the afternoon/evening sun. You might also want to explore the bookcase with a good variety of books. There is a floor-to-ceiling cupboard providing plentiful storage.
The second bedroom has full-size bunk beds and a double wardrobe. It faces south-west, too. A travel cot can be provided on request.
A stylish shower room with sink, corner shower (our guests have often remarked on the excellent shower), WC and built-in storage completes this wonderful holiday home.
If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.
The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day.
A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.
All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.
Please note, if you require the sofa bed to be made up and have not booked for the maximum number of guest, there will be an additional charge.
