This gorgeous ground-floor apartment is nestled in a traditional Edinburgh tenement in Leith, one of the most up-and-coming and vibrant parts of town. Having been recently refurbished, it benefits from both the charming aesthetics of an old building and the modern conveniences of a brand-new interior. The apartment is designed for up to six people and there is plenty of space to organise sleeping arrangements as you see fit, while a cot for a baby or infant can be arranged upon request.

Guests will enjoy exclusive access to all parts of the apartment for the duration of their stay. To the rear of the property, there is a communal garden which is kept in good condition and shared by all residents of the building. With that in mind, visitors are kindly asked to recognise the peace and privacy of their neighbours with regard to noise pollution late at night and early in the morning, as well as show general care and respect to the apartment and its contents. Interior layout Thanks to the sizable windows in each room, the apartment enjoys plenty of light and presents a pleasing aesthetic to guests as a result. Both bedrooms are furnished with two zip-and-link beds which can be joined together to create a double or left as singles. All beds are fitted with pocket spring mattresses to ensure you get a good night’s sleep, while the large corner sofa in the living area can be unfolded to create an additional double bed, as well. Towels and linen are provided for all guests.

As well as the incredibly comfortable corner sofa, the living room also boasts a dining table, a charming mock fireplace complete with marble mantlepiece and a Smart-enabled TV, capable of showing YouTube, Netflix or over 90 cable channels. There is high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property to ensure you stay connected during your time away, while the central heating system is there to keep the intemperate Scottish climate at bay.

The generously-sized kitchen comes with everything you might need to cook up a feast. As well as the fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, there’s also plenty of crockery, cutlery and cookware to meet all your culinary needs. Finally, the modern bathroom is fitted with a supremely satisfying Power Shower and finished with a cool contemporary design scheme. Indeed, the apartment is tastefully decorated throughout, creating the perfect balance between practicality and panache.

Exterior Situated just off Easter Road in a pleasant residential part of Leith, the property is remote enough to enjoy peace and tranquillity at night time but central enough to reach the city centre with ease. Most visitors to Edinburgh will be keen to check out the city’s famous landmarks, such as Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile which connects the two. All of these and many more can be reached on foot from the apartment itself, while the location is also well served by Edinburgh’s fantastic public transport system.

Meanwhile, Leith itself is home to a wide variety of trendy boutiques, sophisticated restaurants and attractive bars, meaning you’ll never be short of options when it comes to eating or drinking. The Shore, in particular, is a picturesque location just minutes from the property which offers a plethora of eateries and drinking holes. The free parking in front of the apartment also makes it an ideal choice for those travelling by car.

Check-in time is 11 am and check-out time is 3 pm. However, if you are aware that you will be arriving before or departing after these times and wish to drop off baggage, please contact me prior to your arrival and I will do my utmost to accommodate any special requirements. On the other hand, Edinburgh bus station and both Waverley and Haymarket train stations have adequate storage facilities should you need them.
