The flat is a 10 minute walk from Waverley Central Train Station and 8 minutes from York Place Tram Terminal.
Whilst staying at the apartment in only 10 minutes you can walk to the top of Calton Hill with wonderful views over the city.
Prince's Street, the main shopping area, and Prince's Gardens are only 15 minutes walk away. Holyrood Palace and The Royal Mile are also just 15 minutes by foot from the flat.
St Andrews Square with a variety of restaurants and the new St James’s Centre are just 10 minutes walk away. Near the flat are small local shops to buy your groceries and there are little cafes to enjoy a coffee or light meal.
The flat itself is a traditional Victorian main door garden flat in central Edinburgh with tall ceilings and well decorated throughout.
The elegant large sitting room has a bay window to the front, fireplace and decorative cornicing. It has a light, bright and fresh feel.
The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, a cooker with oven and grill, a microwave, a toaster, kettle and cafeteria and a large table seating 4 people. Beside the kitchen is the washing machine and tumble dryer (everything you need whilst staying in a home from home).
The good-size modern family bathroom has bath with shower, basin and toilet.
Our Montgomery Garden Flat is ideally suited to adults travelling to Edinburgh who enjoy staying in a home rather that a 'rental flat'. Sorry but no children or pets are allowed.
Interior layout The property has a central hallway from the main door entrance with lounge, bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen all on the same floor. (No internal stairs)
Exterior This is an impressive main door garden flat forming part of a traditional Victorian tenement. The property has direct access to the shared rear garden from the kitchen/dining room.
From Edinburgh Airport.. take the Express transfer bus to Waverley bridge.. then its a 15 min stroll.
🚘 There are metered parking bays outside the apartment on Montgomery Street which are currently free on Sundays.
As with all of our city centre apartments.. a car is not necessary to get around the city.. all city centre attractions are walkable.

Lovely comfortable flat in a good location. The main advantage of staying in a garden flat is that there are only a few stairs to entrance unlike a lot of Edinburgh flats. Quiet residential street near Leith walk buses, short walk to Princes St shops, Calton Hill and Holyrood Park. Modern bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen.
