Traditional charm and modern luxury are seamlessly blended in this three-bedroom property, making it the perfect pied-à-terre for your next Edinburgh exploration.
Step in to the large entrance hall, and the scene is set with a beautifully restored upright piano, stripped wood floors and oodles of light and space. Three generously proportioned bedrooms line the hallway; one double, one king and one super-king, and all with plenty of light and boasting period features such as cornicing and fireplaces. The fabulous kitchen is fully fitted with everything you need in a home from home, including a dishwasher, coffee machine and tumble drier. A dining table as well as a large breakfast bar provide an ideal space for catching up or making plans for the day ahead. A luxury family bathroom with shower over bath and plentiful storage completes the lower level.
Move up the curved staircase to the living room and entertainment paradise. Luxury sofas and super-soft carpets welcome you to relax, whilst the WiFi and Android flat screen TV with Virgin and Netflix keep you occupied. Also on the top floor is an additional dining area, and a 1shower room.
The Warrender Residence is located in lovely, leafy Marchmont, a laid back and friendly area just a ten minute walk from the Old Town. Just around the corner from the apartment on Marchmont Road are plenty of independent cafes and shops as well as a good sized Sainsbury's local for grocery shopping. The Meadows, one of Edinburgh's most loved parks, is a few minutes stroll away and perfect for a picnic or morning jog. Less than a mile away and you’ll find yourself in our medieval Old Town, famous for the Royal Mile and of course Edinburgh Castle. If you're staying during the Festival and Fringe, then George Square, Underbelly and the Pleasance are all within a 20 minute walk.
A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.
Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 25 pounds for unsociable hours and arrivals after 11pm will incur a fee of £40. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.
The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.
All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.
Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival.
Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.
